Eastern India Container Manufacturing & Logistics Private Limited (EICL) was established to foster India's self-reliance in the global shipping industry. Currently, India faces a significant supply gap, producing only 37,000 containers annually despite a demand for 350,000, leading to a heavy reliance on imports. EICL aims to bridge this deficit by developing a world-class, technologically advanced manufacturing hub at Haldia Industrial Park, West Bengal.

 

Strategically located near major ports, steel suppliers, and rail networks, our Haldia facility is positioned to revitalize Bengal’s industrial landscape. Backed by a leadership team with expertise in infrastructure, finance, and engineering, we operate with a focus on governance and operational excellence. Beyond standard ISO units, our portfolio includes Dry Cargo, Reefer, Specialized Industrial, and Defense containers, alongside modular solutions and logistics support.
